AERATORS FOR VENTILATION IN IGOM CE

The AERATORS shown here Art. 48 – 49 – 49.1 – 49.9 are suitable for waterproofing membranes with membranes of the APP, SBS type, hot-spread bitumen on cardboard felts, etc. These aerators have been designed and patented by ITALPROFILI® and we believe they are one of the most valid systems to allow the total escape of the vapors that develop under the waterproofing, without however decreasing the water-repellent capacity of the membranes, preforms or bituminous roofs. , nor that of insulation of the layer intended for this function. In fact, they avoid the serious and typical drawbacks that derive in waterproofed roofs from imperfect ventilation or from a not perfectly functioning aerator: swelling of the roof, crumpling, humidification of the insulating layer, partial or total loss of its properties. Its construction in fact presents, both for the care in the construction and for the material used, characteristics suitable for preventing the aforementioned drawbacks.

Supposed that the vapor barrier has already been positioned on the slab, perforate it in correspondence with the positioning of the canalizer on the highest points of the covering in simple support (dis. A). Subsequently, the insulating panel is laid, suitably perforated for the passage of the central body of the canalizer. The first layer of waterproof membrane is laid by drilling it in correspondence with the canalizer and the surface that will be covered by the aerator flange is heated with a flame, lay the aerator. Proceed with the second waterproof membrane without making any turn-ups in the emerging part of the aerator (in the case of rigid insulation the duct can be omitted, see dis. B, and in the case of a single layer of membrane use a piece of 50 x cm. 50 suitably perforated as a second layer).

(kitchen, bathrooms, etc.), to be inserted on the emerging pipes. Consisting of an aeration cylinder suitable for pipes of 100-110, height mm. 325, Art. 49.9 H 500 Ø 110 equipped with snap-fit ​​lid and mosquito net, with knurled flange to be welded between the first and second waterproof layer. These aerators must be in IGOM EE of the ITALPROFILI® type (dis. C).
